Battersea junior Viktor Stoyanov has run out joint winner of the Frome Chess Congress today.
The 14-year-old, who is rated 190 ECF, scored 4/5 to finish tied on top of the leaderboard with Steven Jones (207) and veteran campaigner Roger de Coverly (179).
The strong field included three titled players while Viktor’s younger brother Boris competed in the Intermediate section.
