Members who were wondering what is happening with our internal club competitions can breathe easy now because, at last, the position of tournament controller has been filled.
A dream ticket of Chris Rebbeck, who will formally become TC, and Aldo Camilleri as helper will take over the role with immediate effect.
It follows a committee meeting on Monday attended by Chris, who is the club’s Minor team captain.
The TC, who sits on the club committee, has been unfilled since Ben Franklin stood down before our AGM in July. Since then no-one has stepped forward until now.
Chris and Aldo will shortly be letting you know about upcoming events and a shake-up of the internals which should allow members new and old to get more graded games under their belts.
