Battersea newboy Jacques Tivillier belied his ChessPatzerUK alter-ego to share a fantastic first prize at the Fide-rated 4NCL Spring Bank Holiday Congress.
The YouTube streamer, pictured above left, scored 5.5/7 to finished tied at the top of the under 1825 section at the event in Basingstoke and pick up a tasty £375.
He said his games included two queen-sacs that led to victories but he was also the victim of a similar move in the only game he lost.
Stay tuned as Jacques has said he may analyse them on his channel.
In the Open section, Battersea first teamer Adam Bukojemski also had a hugely impressive weekend finishing joint third with GM John Nunn and Correspondence Master David Graham.
GM Nick Pert won overall, followed by IM Alan Merry.
