The Pert twins, who held a brilliant simul at the club last month, have another big event in the offing.
Nick and Richard, or Richard and Nick, are organising a weekend congress at the Basingstoke Country Hotel in Hampshire.
There’s a Fide-rated weekender (u2200 and u1900 sections) for adults and juniors on July 6 and 7.
Also, there’s a junior training day on July 6 which will be run by the two Perts and a junior rapid-play on Sunday, July 7.
