Battersea’s Ali Hill topped a strong field to win the Central London / Imperial College Congress last weekend.
The 2276-rated member scored 4.5/5 to take the first prize ahead of FM Peter J Sowray in second and Matthew Dignam and Alex Freeland in third.
The 5-round Swiss event had 45 entrants and took place at the Imperial College Union in South Kensington.
