Three of Battersea’s most exciting young talents have been selected to represent England in the European Youth Chess Championships.
Viktor Stoyanov (in the U18 category), Luca Buanne and Sohum Lohia (both U12) will fly the flag in a 9-round online tournament this weekend.
The English team – made of the top 3 juniors in the country in each age category (U12, U14, U16, U18), will play on the Tornelo platform.
Games will be video-enabled and under arbiter supervision to ensure fair play, in the Holiday Inn in Kenilworth.
All the action will be broadcast live on chess24.com.
