It’s that time of year again when we start planning for next season and working out how to make Battersea Chess Club the best it can possibly be.
Our AGM, when all the big decisions are made, is next week. This year we have a number of very serious matters to deal with.
The meeting will take place on July 11, from 7.30pm at the club.
Issues we want to discuss include:
- how we pay the rent
- how many teams we field next year
- who are the club officers/team captains
- internal tournaments/events
- how we can make the club better
Whether you are a old member, new member or someone considering membership, we would very much appreciate your thoughts.
So, the more the merrier.
