We held our 2019 annual general meeting on Tuesday at the Battersea Labour Club.
Chairman Alan Palmer wanted to thank all those who attended, especially to those who have volunteered to take up or remain in post as officers or team captains
Here are the key decisions:
- Subs remain unchanged (hurrah)
- Derek Harvey appointed CCL3 captain
- Tomasso Penna appointed CLL1 captain
- NEW LL Major team, captained by Chris Rebbeck
- Malcolm Dancy appointed LL2 captain
- Alan Palmer and Bill Drennan appointed LL3 joint captains
- Vic Rumsey to audit
- Stephen Welch appointed Tournament Secretary
- NEW we will attempt to join the Alexander Cup, secretary to pursue, Ali Hill to be approached to captain
- Arnold Hunt to attend LL AGM as a delegate, advice needed on how to vote
- Chris Beckett appointed Membership Secretary
- A couple of questions to be put to the treasurer regarding accounts
- Amendments to the constitution to be decided at a later date, perhaps at an EGM.
The club award-winners were:
- Player of the Year – Joel Morales (for full stats click here)
- Captain of the Year – Tim Wells
- Game of the Year – Conor Gay (for simul win against GM Stephen Gordon)
