Battersea Chess Club is proud to announce the all-new Virtual Battersea Chess Club, the world’s first working chess club in cyberspace.
From being one of London’s oldest chess institutions, founded in 1885, Battersea is now breaking new ground in the game online.
From today members can enjoy the benefits of a dedicated room in Masterspace, an exciting new website created by chess fans.
HOWEVER, please note: this space is only ready to access right now on desktop, don’t try to use it on a mobile.
Masterspace.io offers a simulated 3-D chess club environment. It is immersive and fun. Members can play and watch casual games, enjoy chess lectures and learn, watch chess being streamed or just “sit down” for a chat. There are even virtual pot plants!
The club is open 24 hours a day and is always there. The possibilities are endless.
