Battersea has been invited to enter the inaugural London Club Championships organised by the Southern Counties Chess Union.
The club is seeking eligible teams of four to represent the club in three categories listed below. If you are interested, please let us know.

This competition is a one day 6-round rapidplay team event, open to all chess clubs in the Southern Counties Chess Union.
Teams, which comprise four players, may compete in one of three sections:
- Major, average grade not exceeding 180 ECF
- Inter, average grade not exceeding 150 ECF
- Minor, average grade not exceeding 120 ECF
Entry is limited to 40 teams.

Eligibility
Open to all Clubs in the SCCU/London area.
Players must have played at least two games for their Club during the 2018/19 season.
All players must be at least Bronze level ECF members.
